How does 3DBioModels work?
A few simple steps to obtain a personalized 3D-printed anatomical model.
Step 1: Select your biomodel area.
Select the area of the CBCT that you want to print in the “Print Biomodels” option. Select the part of the CT scan you want to print: Maxilla, Half Maxilla, Mandible, Half Mandible, or Full Patient.
Step 2: Select printing options and number of copies.
Select the type of resin, the quadrant to be printed, and indicate if you want to include Schneider membranes.
Next, specify how many copies you need and add your model to the shopping cart. If you want to print a different area or choose different printing options for the same CBCT file, you must create a new product and add it to the cart separately.
Step 3: Enter your details to confirm the order
Enter your information details to process the order.
Make sure to correctly fill in all fields to avoid shipping delays. You can create a user account to save your details for future orders as well as for the correct issuance of the corresponding invoices.
The time from receipt of the CBCT file to shipping the biomodel is 48 hours. Additional copies require longer production time, so delivery time may vary accordingly.
Select the shipping method: Saver.
Step 4: Payment
Add your purchase to the cart and confirm the order.
Once the order is confirmed, you must complete the payment using one of the following methods:
- Debit or credit card – We accept Visa and MasterCard.
- Bank transfer.
Once the payment has been made, the corresponding invoice will be automatically generated.
Step 5: Transfer CBCT file
Upload your anonymized CBCT file in the Dropbox window that will open. Attach the CBCT file to proceed with printing.
The file name must be your order number, which you will find in your email confirmation. Our security protocol ensures maximum confidentiality.
Step 6: Confirmation and shipping
Confirm your order. Once confirmed, we will process the images, print your biomodel, and proceed with shipping.
