3DBiomodels

3D printed anatomical models from a CBCT

3D printed medical models, or “biomodels” are exact replicas of the patient’s internal anatomy. Using a biomodel simplifies the planning of medium and high complexity surgeries.
By using 3D printed models, the surgeon can physically hold the anatomical structure of interest in his hand before intervening on the patient in the operating room.

How does it work?

1) Area selection

Choose the area of the CBCTto print and the printing options: resin type, quadrant, and whether to include Schneider membranes.

2) Confirmation

Add your purchase to the cart and confirm the order. You can pay by card or transfer. The corresponding invoice will be generated.

3) File transfer

Send the CBCT file to print. The file will be treated following a maximum security protocol.

Advantages of using 3D printed Medical Models

  • Providing confidence to the patient
  • Visualization of pre-surgery problems
  • Time saving during the procedure
  • Safety in surgery

Step by Step

1. Select the area of your Biomodel

In the “Print Biomodels” option, select the part of the CT that you want to print: Maxilla, ½ Maxilla, Mandible, ½ Mandible, or Entire Patient.

2. Select print options and number of copies

Choose the type of resin, the quadrant to be printed and indicate if you want to include Schneider membranes. Then indicate how many copies you need and add your model to the shopping cart. Whenever you want another printing area or different printing options for the same CBCT file, you must create a new product and include it in the cart.

3. Enter your details to confirm the order

Enter your information to process the order. Be sure to fill in all fields correctly to avoid shipping delays. You can create your user account so that your data is registered for future orders. The time from the reception of the CBCT file to the shipment of the Biomodel is 48h. The additional copies mean a longer production time, so the delivery time will vary depending on them. Choose the type of shipping: Saver.

4. Payment

Once the order is confirmed, you must make the payment using one of these two methods:
• With card. The following are valid: Visa or Mastercard.
• Wire transfer

5. Transferring the CBCT file

Upload your anonymized CBCT file in the Dropbox box that will open. The name of the file must be the order number, which you will find security in your email. Our security protocol guarantees maximum confidentiality.

6. Confirmation and shipping

Confirm your order. After confirming it, we will process the images and print your biomodel.
